PROPERTIES:
These herbs have traditionally been used as an aid in the treatment of a wide
variety of digestive disturbances. The formulation works on two levels. The
majority of the herbs are digestive tonics that stimulate the secretion of
enzymes and digestive juices by the stomach, small intestine, pancreas, liver
and gall bladder. In addition, aromatic nervine herbs stimulate the digestive
process while calming the sympathetic nervous system. This is very important
because all digestive disturbances are at least partially related to stress.
The Digestive Tonic is helpful for all manner of symptoms related to indigestion
including upset stomach, nausea, gas, bloating, etc. It is also useful for
liver and gall bladder congestion, and as a supportive aid in the treatment
of food allergies where there is a poor digestion component. This formulation
can also be used as an appetite stimulant.

NOTE: Each Faunus Tonic has been formulated to be used individually.
While combining tonics with other herbs may not interfere with their effectiveness,
it is best to complete a course of one tonic before starting another. This information is not meant to diagnose, treat, |
